"Matcha Forest Rich Caramel Omelette".

We will also deliver original matcha sweets according to the season.
Regarding the luxurious use of bitter-tasting raw chocolate, our confections can be enjoyed deliciously paired with coffee, wine, or champagne.

The dedication to Japanese confectionery making
Savor the pure taste of nature with our range of confections.

First and foremost, it's about emphasizing the importance of our ingredients. We use Hokkaido-grown azuki beans and 100% Uji matcha from Kyoto. Additionally, we aim to make our products without additives or preservatives. While it's essential to know what we use in our confections, I believe it's equally important to know what we don't use.

The reason for not adding additives
My mother's kitchen is the core value of our confections that is carefully crafted without additives to bring you the pure, homemade taste you love.

It all stems from food education. When I was at home, my mother always cooked for me with deep love and never served prepared dishes, perhaps because she didn't want me to consume anything that might not be good for our health. Since then, I never considered buying prepared foods, and always cooked everything myself after I moved to Tokyo. This upbringing instilled in me a mindset of prioritizing natural ingredients and avoiding additives. We aim to create and serve our confectioneries with the same peace of mind and care that I experienced at home.

Our future outlook

I believe that through this collaboration, we've come together to share our passion and dreams for Japanese confections, envisioning them becoming as popular as sushi and tempura! Our aim is to make these delights accessible to everyone, including those who haven't had the chance to experience Japanese confections, including customers from overseas. Someday, I aspire to open a shop in New York and introduce delicious Japanese sweets to the world.

The secret to deliciousness

We make them without cutting corners, without taking shortcuts, and following the methods we were taught faithfully. Furthermore, instead of adding additives for preservation, we use freezing techniques and thoughtful packaging to ensure freshness, allowing our confections to be enjoyed without worrying about their shelf life.

We aim to create confections that are not only visually appealing but also delicious to the heart, body, and palate.

While the appearance may seem modest compared to others, we strive to create an appearance that matches what's inside. That's the essence of Matsuemon. We've made a commitment to only offer what we personally find delicious, and we feel trusted by customers who appreciate the uniqueness of our confections and return to enjoy them repeatedly.
